This great one of a kind patchwork jacket is made with the Turquoise Blue French Toile "Rustic Life" by Waverly and a coordinating Turquoise and White Gingham fabric. The fabrics are lightweight and will be great all spring and summer long.
When I make these great jackets I never know exactly how they are going to turn out until I finish that last piece of fabric. This is what makes my jackets so unique.
For this lovely jacket I have added a 74mm x 163mm floral embroidered design to the top center back of the jacket. A cream/beige embroidered thread was used and then cut-out in several areas of the design.
On the front right and left top of the jacket, I have added a cut-out of the "Rustic Life" fabric and used a decorative stitch to attach.
The main body of the jacket is of the Turquoise/Blue and White Gingham with the "Rustic Life for the sleeves and front trimmed edge of the jacket.
It is fully lined with a turquoise/blue Morie fabric.
I used a size 12 pattern for this jacket. Measurements are:
17" across the back at the shoulders
21" across the center back
22" across the back at hips
22" in length
23" sleeve length from shoulder seam
18" sleeve length from the under arm seam
